SR50f Basketball tower, roof mounted, forward retractable

Used for indoor or under cover multi-purpose courts where the basketball unit must be moved to cater for other activities.

The direction of retraction depends on the structural design of the roof and the amount of space available. The unit consists of a backboard, backboard frame, extension arms, cable supports, ring and net.

Not included are fixing points to which the unit will be attached. Fixing points may need to be attached to the roof structure before the basketball unit can be installed. The hoisting mechanism to retract the unit is an additional item. Height adjusting frame is additional.

SR50b Basketball tower, roof mounted, back retractable

Used for indoor or under cover multi-purpose courts similar to SR50f but retracts backwards to the roof.

Obstacles at roof level such as lights or PA devices may determine whether forward or backward retraction is desired.
Any additional roof beams required from which the basketball unit can be attached will be determined from the architectural plans. These plans are required at the time of quotation.

There are several methods of retracting the units and the devices used are separate items from the basketball units.
Height adjusting frame is additional.

SHF Backboard height adjusting frame

Used to change the ring height from 3.05m to 2.6m for junior players.

Consisting of two frames sliding on rails, the board and ring can be adjusted from ground level using the hand tool provided. A gas lifter is fitted in the frame. Can be used with all roof and wall mounted indoor basketball units.

Order separately when required.

S125r Rotating basketball / netball tower

Application: For use on multi purpose courts that incorporate a 28m long basketball court and a 30.5m netball court. The main pole of the tower sits on the netball base line and allows the backboard to overhang into the basketball court by 1.2m.

Features: Two piece galvanised 140mm round pole, the angled extension arm pivots at the top of the pole and is locked in position with the hand tool provided. Supplied with B1810 full size ply backboard, R11b basketball ring, NR21a netball ring and nets.

Note: Supplied as a galvanised or painted item. BP20 pole padding available.

Application: For use on multi purpose courts where basketball and netball share the same base line. The main pole of the tower sits on the base line and allows the basketball backboard to overhang into the court by 1.2m.

Features: The hot dip galvanised 100mm round pole pivots around the ground sleeve. The tower is locked in position at the base of the pole. Supplied with B1810 full size ply backboard, R11b basketball, NR21a netball ring and nets. A hand tool to assist in turning the tower is supplied.
Note: BP20 pole padding available.

SS420 Side swing basketball tower

Application: .Used on courts that combine tennis and basketball. The long extension allows the tower poles to be set well clear of the tennis base line. When not in use, the tower swings sideways to the fence line and locks in position. Maximum extension for this model is 4.2m. Longer extensions are possible with reconfigured design.

Features: Two 125mm square support poles, extension arms are off-set to fold flat in the stored position,, B1810 full size ply backboard, R11b ring and net, hand tool.
Benefits: The off-set hinging points allow the extension arms to fold flat against each other and lock in position.

S100 Basketball tower

Popular choice for school basketball courts.

Features: 100mm square two piece pole, pole is positioned 500mm outside the base line. Hot dip galvanised after fabrication, supplied with, B1810 full size ply backboard, R11b 300kg load capacity ring and net.

Benefits: The two piece pole makes transport and installation easy. After the main pole is concreted in place, the extension arm bolts on to the top of the main pole.

Note: The backboard can be substituted for all weather Polyboard, pole padding available.

S125 Long outreach basketball tower

This tower complies with all government and sporting authority guidelines. The 1.0m base line clearance is the minimum requirement for competitions. Used on council half courts and full size school courts.

Features: Two piece 125mm square pole, the extension arm bolts onto the vertical section, hot dip galvanised finish, B1810 full size ply backboard, R11b 300kg load capacity ring and net.

Benefits: Backboard oscillation is kept to a minimum by using square material (rounded corners) and making the extension arm angled. The pole is easier to install and transport in two sections, 1.0 metre clearance from court base line to the pole face allows for player safety, strongest and most sturdy basketball tower on the market.

Note: The ply backboard can be substituted for Polyboard, the ring can be changed for other types, BP20 pole padding is available.

Force 10 Home court basketball tower

Full size basketball tower for home applications. The extension arm will allow the tower to overhang a 3.0m high tennis court fence.

Features: 100mm square pole, 1200mm extension arm, 1800 x 1050 waterproof ply board, R21a ring and net, rear backboard frame, black finish. Force 10 provides excellent ball rebound and provides clearance under the board for lay-ups.

Legend Home basketball tower

Tower with 2/3 sized rectangular backboard. The extension arm is high enough to clear a 3.0m tennis court fence.

Power Pro Height adjustable basketball tower

The board height is fully adjustable from 2.2m to 3.05m.

The height adjustment allows the whole family to enjoy playing.

The main pole is 100mm square, backboard to pole distance, (with the ring set at 3050mm), is 1.2m, height is adjusted by hand crank.

R90c Competition spring ring

The maintenance free spring requires no adjustment and will not sag over time. A 50mm wide wrap around brace provides a better visual target. The tube net hook system will not trap the net. The cord which is supplied with the ring is fed through the tubes and each loop of the net.
