Used for indoor or undercover multipurpose courts where the basketball unit must be moved to cater for other activities.
The direction of retraction (forwards or backwards) depends on the structural design of the roof and the amount of space available. The unit consists of a backboard, backboard frame, extension arms, cable supports, ring and net.
Not included are fixing points to which the unit will be attached. Fixing points may need to be attached to the roof structure before the basketball unit can be installed.
